Located in Tetu, Nyeri County, the Njuriga Washing Station operates under the Njuriga Farmers’ Cooperative Society, established in 1999 and serving approximately 470 smallholder farmers under the leadership of Pauline Mumbi Karim. Upon arrival, cherries are received and sorted by ripeness before undergoing pre-fermentation, pulping, and aerobic fermentation, lasting between 72 and 95 hours. The coffee is then thoroughly washed and dried outdoors, completing a meticulous process that preserves quality at every stage.

In the cup, notes of sweet melon, bright orange, and delicate hibiscus create a crisp, floral-fruited profile. Paired with our Hazelnut Butter, the coffee gains a subtle praline-like sweetness and creamy texture that complement its juicy fruit character while enhancing its elegant complexity.
